Ali Corey, LMHC, Ph. D.

Dr. Ali Corey achieved a Ph.D. in Counseling and Counseling Education from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Masters Degree in Counseling from Old Dominion University in Virginia. Dr. Corey has served as a counseling educator at Old Dominion, University of Baltimore, George Mason University, Hodges University and currently is an Assistant Professor with Antioch University. In the more than a decade that Dr. Corey has been practicing counseling, she has owned her own private practice, worked in a group practice, acted as the clinical counselor in 5 different schools (K-12 levels), was the director of a school based mental health program, practiced as a college counselor, and served as the assessment counselor in the ER for a behavioral health hospital. She also provides clinical assessments for Bradley Hospital, the oldest children’s psychiatric facility in Rhode Island while also working at Dr. Karen Gieseke and Associates part time. Dr. Corey works with children, families, and adults. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Supervisor in the states of Maryland and Rhode Island.
