Carrie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who received both her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from Rhode Island College. Carrie has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, and families.
Carrie utilizes a broad range of evidence based therapeutic modalities with treatment strengths in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Family Systems, and healing and expressive arts based activities. Carrie’s clinical experience includes counseling populations that have experienced involvement with the child welfare and foster systems, perinatal/postpartum maternal care, new or chronic medical diagnoses, trauma and/or domestic violence exposure, self-esteem deficits, and crisis intervention. Carrie is passionate about working collaboratively with clients to establish healthy lines of communication, boundaries, coping skills/strategies, problem solving skills, and developing insight into barriers that keep clients from being their best self. Counseling sessions are available at the Bristol office in a safe, judgement free environment.
