Biography

Dr. Maurizio Zambenedetti, MD completed his psychiatric residency at the Medical School of Cornell University and his child psychiatry fellowship at St. Luke’s Hospital (Columbia University) in NYC . He was Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical School of Cornell University, and completed a master degree in “Clinical Epidemiology and Service Research”. For several years he was the Unit Chief of the Children Inpatient Unit at New York Hospital, and later on the Director of the ADHD service. With the same academic title he worked at the “Child Study Center” at the Medical School of New York University, where he was involved in a number of studies on ADHD. During these years he was a consultant to different Committees of Special Education and worked with children with PTSD placed infoster care. Dr. Zambenedetti is available for appointments in both Middletown and Bristol locations.
