Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatric/Mental Health) – Children & Adults


Position Overview: The Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate is thoughtful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with complex clinical presentations, including ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, and neurodevelopmental conditions.


Responsibilities:


Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations

Provide medication management and follow-up care

Collaborate closely with psychologists, psychotherapists and referral sources

Contribute to treatment planning based on neuropsychological findings

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications:


Licensed Nurse Practitioner (psychiatric) in Rhode Island

Experience working with both pediatric and adult populations

Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Insurance credentialing preferred

Preferred (but not required):


Experience in outpatient mental health, hospital or neuropsychological settings

Familiarity with ADHD and executive functioning disorders

Interest in integrative, team-based care

Psychologist (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Position Overview: The Psychologist will be responsible for administering, scoring, and documenting a variety of neuropsychological and psychological assessment measures. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals across the lifespan and possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and clinical skills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct clinical interviews and gather relevant background information.Administer and score neuropsychological, cognitive, academic, behavioral, and psychological assessment measures.Data interpretation, and clinical summarizing of neuropsychological testingCompletion of neuropsychological reportsMaintain accurate testing records and documentation.Supervise psychometrist(s) as needed including review of testing data and clinical consultation and oversight.Ensure adherence to ethical, professional, and testing standards.Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and families.Qualifications
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited program.Current state licensure (or license eligibility).Training and experience in neuropsychological and psychological assessment.Strong report-writing and diagnostic skills preferred.Preferred Experience
Experience with ADHD, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorders, traumatic brain injury, dementia, and other neurological or psychiatric conditions.Familiarity with commonly used assessment instruments such as the WAIS, WISC, WPPSI, WIAT, Woodcock-Johnson, CVLT, RVLT, ADOS2, and related measures.Experience working in outpatient private practice settings.
