Neuropsychological Testing, Psychological Testing & Educational Testing
Dr. Gieseke has been performing psychological evaluations since 1987, however with the increased demand for testing, she started our testing clinic in 2016 to increase our capacity to provide needed evaluations. In our clinic, Dr. Gieseke and other psychologists supervise psychometrists and doctoral interns. We provide excellent comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological, and educational evaluations. In addition, we also offer Educational Testing for reading, math and written language.

Requirements Prior to Making an Appointment

We will contact you for completion of the Patient Portal when we are ready to schedue.
Fees
Additional administrative fee for testing and materials usage that is an out of pocket expense. This fee, ranging from $75-120 per evaluation, will be assessed for each evaluation.
Please be aware of your own insurance benefits. We will do our best to check them but the patient is responsible for any charges insurance fails to cover.
A credit card on file is required.
A retainer of approximately $2000 for testing will be collected for large deductible insurance plans.
What to Expect
Neuropsychological and Psychological Testing timelines vary per client. On average, the process to complete intake paperwork, undergo the assessments, and to receive a final report can take about 8 weeks. This is contingent on client’s availability and their specific case. Please see below for a breakdown of what to expect during the testing process.
Testing Procedures for Child/Minor Psychological and Neuropsychological Testing
- Intake Appointment with Parents Only. (VIDEO CHAT) Please DO NOT bring your child to this first appointment
- Intake Appointment with Child in person
- Generally 2 IN OFFICE testing sessions (length varies with age – approx. about 2 hours each session)
- Completion of parent rating scales and teacher scales (when applicable)
- Feedback Session (VIDEO CHAT w/ only parent/guardians)
- Thorough Written report to follow (about 3 weeks after last in person appointment) – sent to client portal and to referring provider with signed ROI.
Testing Procedures for Adult Psychological and Neuropsychological Testing
- Intake Appointment with Patient (VIDEO CHAT)
- Generally 2 IN OFFICE testing sessions (length varies by referral question – approx. 2 hours each session)
- Completion of adult rating scales
- Feedback Session (VIDEO CHAT)
- Thorough Written Report to follow (about 3 weeks after last in person appointment) – sent to your client portal and to referring provider with signed ROI.
Educational Testing
We offer comprehensive individual evaluations for reading, writing and math which are not covered by insurance.Reading Evaluation: $750 Includes assessment of word recognition, phonological processing, reading comprehension, and reading fluency with 30 minute feedback appointment and written report with recommendations.Mathematics Evaluation: $500 Includes assessment of math concepts, math computation, and math fluency with 30 minute feedback and written report with recommendations.Written Language Evaluation: $500 Includes assessment of mechanics of writing, spelling, and contextual writing/composition with 30 minute feedback and written report with recommendations.
